Now take the coat hanger to make the wreath base. Simply bend the coat hanger leaving the hook of the hanger as it is for hanging the wreath in the wall. Now wrap a floral wire to cover the entire wreath base. Now choose numerous stems of foliage and place them together in a bunch. Cut the ends of the stems and arrange them facing the opposite direction in the wreath.

Now take the dried lavender and place them on the top of the bundle of foliage. Now place the bundle on the top of the frame where the floral wire is connected. Now hold the bundle tightly in place and cover the entire bundle with floral wire. Wrap the wire twice so that the foliage and the dried lavender remain in their position.

Place the first bundle that you have made. Then take the second bundle and put it under the first one. Turn the wire tightly around the last bundle. Before you making your wreath collect the lavenders from your garden. Now cut the floral head of the lavenders and make them ready to dry. In a container pour some silica gel and place the lavenders in it. Cover the lavenders with silica gel and close the lid of the container. Leave the container for 3 to 4 days to let the lavenders dry.

After the lavenders are dried properly pluck the red roses from the garden. Cut the floral head leaving a length of about of 3”. Remember to cut the floral head in an angular shape and immediately dip the flowers in a bucket of water.

Open the metal hanger and pull it as flat as possible. Let the hook be in place. Now give the hanger a heart shape. Leave the hook in place at the top of the wreath.

You can form out the heart and then bend the hook so it is straight. Now if you want to make your wreath a smaller one then cut out few inches from the hanger leaving the hook at a distance.

Take the red plastic wrap and Cut it into small strips. The strips look better if they are 2” wide and 6” long. Now take one strip and tie a knot around the heart shaped frame. Tie them in equal halves so that you end up with two ends of plastic striking out. If you want to have the ends striking out towards the front of the wreath then repeat the step once more.

Turn the plastic strip in such a way that the knot is at the back and the strips is facing in the front. Now take the red or pink ribbon and tie them in a large flat bow. Cut some floral wire and pass it through the back of the knot.

Now start placing the flowers in the wreath base. At first place the dried lavenders in the wreath base. Place the dried lavenders in the wreath leaving some gaps in between. Apply glue at the base of the dried lavenders and press them to the wreath base. Do not press the flowers too hard as the petals may break.

In between the dried lavenders in the wreath base place the fresh red roses following the same process. After placing all the flowers in the wreath base make a bow and tie it at the left corner of the wreath. You may also add some glitters in it to make the wreath look attractive.

·        Once you have the straight wire hanger, thread the wire through the center of all the 4-inch plastic squares.

·        Make sure that the squares ends alternate with each other. Then after your wire is fully covered with the squares, bend the wire into a circle. See that the ends of the wire will overlap each other. Then you can tie up these overlapping with a floral wire. This will prevent the wire from coming undone.

Lastly, you can decorate your wreath with any decorations that comes to your mind and then hang it to your front door.

After three or four rounds tie both the ends of the string together into a knot. Then bend the stems of the flowers upwards and over the heads of the flower. Once you have tied the stems you may cut the stems evenly and hang it in some airy place for some more drying.

To make a wand out of dried lavender you will need 14 dried lavender flowers stems and a ribbon of 40 inches in length. Bunch the stems together and tie it with the ribbon just below the flower heads. After tying the bunch you should have one end of the ribbon about 9 inches long and the other end about 30 inches long. The shorter length of the ribbon will have to go into the flowers. Once you do that bend all the stems upwards over the flower heads. Bend the stems like you did while making the bottle. Now start weaving the longer end of the ribbon through the stems in an easy under and over pattern. After finishing with the weaving tie the two ends of the string into a bow. Your lavender wand is ready with its magical fragrance.
