Add flower buttons to any object like dresses, shoes, bags, and containers that you may find boring or dull and watch them getting a new life.

You can easily make flower buttons at home with a few basic things and a little skill:

Materials

            Stiff construction paper

            Scissors

            Pipe cleaners

            Buttons

Method

1.                  Take different colored construction paper and cut out flowers from it. Remember the colors of the flowers must match those of the buttons.

2.                  Center a button with the middle of your flower. Poke a pipe cleaner through your flower so that it comes up and through the first hole of your button, then poke it down through the next hole in the button and through your flower.

3.                  Twist the short end of the pipe cleaner around the long end, directly under the flower and button and your flower button is ready.

B) You can make flower buttons in the following simple way too:

Materials

Buttons in different sizes and colors

Floral wire - you can get this at a crafts store

Scissors

Method

1.      Cut a piece of floral wire in any size.

2.                  Bend the wire in about 1/3 of the way from the top so you have a short end and a long end.

3.                  Slide a small button onto the long end of the wire until you get to the bend in the wire.

When you get to the bend in the wire, thread the short end of the wire through the other hole on the button, and keep pushing it up to the bend. The bigger the holes are on your buttons, the easier this is to do.

Now do the same thing with a bigger button.

Twist the short end of the wire around the long end of the wire.

And there’s your button flower. You can make a whole bunch of flowers for a beautiful button bouquet.
