But surprisingly you find out that hanging a wreath to the door is not as easy as you had thought. Hanging a wreath to the door and taking care that you do not damage the door while doing it is of course not so easy. To make the matters worse your doorstep is still slippery from the late night snow and you have strict instructions from your wife you hang the wreath high on the door. So to help you hang your wreath to the door without slipping or injuring your fingers, here are some tricks of the wreath hanging trade.
To hang your wreaths safely and in no time you will require the following items.
· A wreath hanger, a metal hanger and a magnetic door hanger.
· Ribbons for decorating
· Push up pins and
· Brick Clips.
Now that you have the requirements ready, lets begin by stringing the decorative ribbon of about 2 to 3 ft in length through the wreath. While you do this, ask one of your sons to hold the wreath at the height where your wife wants the wreath to hang. Once you have got the height right pull the two ends of the ribbon and put a pin tacking the ribbon to the top of the door.
Then get your metal wreath hanger and fix it to the top of your door. Then you may hang the wreath by the hook adjusting the length of the hanger.
If you have doors with a big single paned glass, then the magnetic wreath hangers will work for your doors. You will just have to place the magnets on both the sides of the pane, this way one magnet will hold the other. Then you can hang your wreath.
If you do not want to spend your money on any of these fancy hangers, you may use a simple metal hanger to hang your wreath. Just bend the wire so that it nicely fits over the top of your door. Then you may hang the wreath onto the hook.
