For making a dried lavender wreath you will need the following materials:
- Straw wreath base
- Dried lavender
- Dried foliage
- Floral wire
- Hot glue
- Artificial fruits
- Rose hips
- Hot glue
Before making the dried lavender wreath you will first need to dry the lavender. For that collect the lavender from the garden early in the morning. Now cut the floral head at a length of about 2”. Now press the lavender properly so that they dry up totally. After drying take the dried lavender for making the dried lavender wreath.
Start making a dried lavender wreath you will need to decide on the type of base you want to work in. when you have determined in working with straw wreath base go on following the next step. Cover the entire wreath base with floral wire. This will secure the wreath base. Tie a knot when the two ends of the wire meet.
Start placing the dried foliage in the wreath base. Wrap the dried foliage in the wreath base with floral wire. Follow the same procedure and cover the entire wreath with dried foliage. Remember to leave some gaps in between them.
Now place the dried lavender in the wreath base in the gaps. Apply hot glue at the base of the dried lavender and press the dried lavender in the wreath base. Be careful while pressing the flowers so that the petals of the lavender do not break.
After you finish placing the dried lavender in the base add the artificial fruits. Apply hot glue at the artificial fruits and set them in the wreath base. At last add the rose hips to the wreath base. To make your wreath look stunning create a bow and attach it to the wreath base.
